About the Painting and Decorating License

Did you know that in certain places, your painter must be licensed in order to perform any work in your home? Licensing of trade professionals was introduced to protect you from untrained and unqualified operators. Unlicensed work is not only unlawful; it may also place the health and safety of you and family at risk. If required, painters will need to be in possession of a painting licence. This will typically allow them to apply paints for a protective or decorative function.
